About Gundel
Gundel is one of the great names of Hungarian gastronomy. Károly Gundel took over the restaurant in City Park in the early 20th century and made it the place where Hungarian cooking met European elegance; the Gundel pancake, filled with walnuts and served with chocolate sauce, is still a national classic. Dress up a little, and combine a meal here with Heroes’ Square, the Széchenyi Bath or the Museum of Fine Arts.
