Great Market Hall
Market since 1897

About Great Market Hall
The Great Market Hall opened in 1897, a huge iron-and-glass hall with a roof of colourful Zsolnay tiles at the southern end of Váci Street. The ground floor is full of stalls selling paprika, salami, cheese, vegetables and pastries, and upstairs you can eat lángos and other Hungarian dishes. It is closed on Sundays.
Why it's on our list
- A grand market hall from 1897
- Paprika, salami and Hungarian specialities
- Food stalls upstairs
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Great Market Hall before you go.
