About St Stephen’s Basilica

St Stephen’s Basilica took more than fifty years to build and was completed in 1905. Its dome rises to the same height as the Parliament’s, and you can climb or take the lift to a terrace around it for one of the best views in Pest. Inside, the reliquary chapel holds the Holy Right, the hand of St Stephen, Hungary’s first king.
