About Várkert Bazár
The Várkert Bazár, designed by Miklós Ybl in the 1870s and 1880s, is a set of neo-Renaissance arcades, stairways and gardens below Buda Castle on the Danube bank, restored as a venue for exhibitions and events, with lifts and escalators up to the castle.
