House of Terror
A museum of two regimes

About House of Terror
The building at Andrássy út 60 was used by the secret police of both the fascist and the communist regimes, and today it is a museum about the victims of Hungary’s 20th-century dictatorships. The exhibitions are dramatic and the cellars, where prisoners were held, are sobering. Allow at least two hours.
